Stills from my promo shoot this weekend with the terribly talented
When I was reviewing the footage Joe took throughout the night, I couldn’t believe how surreal it felt. I felt like I wasn’t even looking at myself, but watching this person who i wanted to be on the monitor. But that’s the thing, it was me. I feel so close to being that person that I can barely focus on anything else, and this shoot only made me more anxious and impatient.
We worked so well together, Stephen and I, effieciently moving from location to location, choosing street corners and stairwells as we went, it felt effortless and natural, like it was all we were ever meant to do…

I’ve been trying to be more worldly lately and watch some of the documentaries instant netflix has to offer. I was told that Bill Cunningham: New York was cute and adorable.
I had no idea who Bill Cunningham was until I started the film.
Bill is a photograph for the New York Times. Bill is a pioneer. Bill is a legend of street fashion.
If you have ever picked up a New York Times or seen one at a starbucks table you know what I’m talking about. He does “On the street” a beautiful template of photos of Street Fashion. (I’m 99.9% sure I was photographed and put in the NYT when I was about 17 and Von Dutch hats were cool)
This movie was full of life and inspiration. It made me laugh and cry and was not only informational, but again inspirational.
His love for fashion is not a job or a career it’s an actual LOVE.
I encourage anyone and everyone to watch this film. Doesn’t matter if you dress up when you go to the drug store or if you roll out of bed in sweats. This movie is wonderful.
Please go watch!
